A view from the Great Room...

This is a shot of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. It was taken from our Great Room, through the screen, so it is not very sharp. But still a beautiful site to see, day or night. We love to see the beacon at night. When we purchased the lot our house sits on...the Lighthouse was "almost" at the end of our street...that was Nov '98. The Lighthouse was moved in 1999...the same year we began construction. Glad they saved the Lighthouse, but sad to see it moved.

We have very few weeks available in 2009. September is now booked solid and the first 2 weeks in October are spoken for.

All of November is available. With the mild temperatures the OBX has in the fall, it's a beautiful time of year to get away.

A few weeks are available in December. We will be winterizing later in Dec. so please check for availability.

Love this...

My Mom has a copy of this hanging on the wall at her house. It was a favorite of my Dad's. This kids didn't really pose, just gave me a big smile.

I found this photo recently and wanted to share how beautiful the beach is just outside our front door. Photo was taken on Easter break from school. Our son "accidentally" went swimming ;o) Notice the surfers in the background...all wearing wet suits! The water was too chilly to swim...but boys will be boys.

Spring has Sprung!
